This personalized approach ensures that every resident receives care that is tailored to their individual situation, fostering a sense of comfort and security. Whether it’s managing medications, assisting with daily activities, or simply offering a friendly chat, our staff’s attention to detail makes a significant difference in the lives of our residents.

Our team truly cares about each resident's well-being. Gina, one of our Resident Assistants, sums it up perfectly: “My experience working as a Caregiver at Pine Haven has been excellent. I love being a caregiver because at the end of the day, I know I have made a difference in someone’s life. I also love working with my fellow Caregivers as we have good communication and help each other as a team.”

Expertise and Training

We are proud to have received several awards that recognize our commitment to high-quality care. Pine Haven Christian Communities was named Senior Care’s Best Place to Work for 2024 by WeCare Connect and received Safety of the Year Award from the Sheboygan County Chamber in February 2024. Additionally, we have received the designation of Dementia Specific through LeadingAge Wisconsin, reflecting our commitment to a holistic philosophy that embraces and fosters individualized dementia-centered care and support.

Our commitment to excellence extends beyond awards and recognitions. We continually invest in the professional development of our staff to ensure top-notch care. For example, Cassie Rinehart, Trinity Home Assisted Living Manager, recently became a certified CBRF Manager through LeadingAge. Additionally, several of our employees are working through the state's program to become Certified Direct Care Professionals. Julia Ramirez has completed the Certified Direct Care Professional (CDCP) certification, an added credential for our Resident Assistants.

Our staff works closely together, sharing knowledge and supporting each other to ensure seamless care and a well-coordinated experience for our residents. We provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to keep our team well-equipped with the latest knowledge and skills. Jeanette Lawry, our Education/Occupational Health Nurse, ensures that every employee at Pine Haven receives and completes mandated training and courses. Stacey Alsteen, Laura Wilmot, and Andrea Fleischfresser hold ServSafe Manager certification, with Andrea also serving as an instructor/proctor for the program, offering coursework and testing to our dining team onsite. As a result, the following dining staff have also recently received their ServSafe Manager certification: Becca Halbach, Jessica Quasius, Wendy Mauk, Zach Winkel, and Anna Parrish.
