Seventy-five years ago, in 1949, Pine Haven's founders set out to create not just a home for the elderly, but a Christian home where God’s love, mercy, and grace would flourish.
Over the past seventy-five years, many changes have shaped how we care for seniors, but one thing has remained constant – our commitment to providing care rooted in Christian love. What does that mean for us? Here are just a few ways it makes a difference:
First, our service is an act of worship, and through it, God is glorified.
Second, Christian care is filled with love, compassion, kindness, and patience. While the later years of life can be challenging, residents often share how deeply loved they feel at Pine Haven.
Third, we continually seek God’s guidance. We've successfully navigated countless changes by trusting in His will and faithfully following His lead.
And fourth, a Christian home offers spiritual nourishment, especially when our earthly life nears its end. With two dedicated Chaplains and a team of caring staff and volunteers, we’re here to support and encourage a closer walk with God.
At Pine Haven, we cherish our Christian heritage and pray to continue serving faithfully for many more years to come.
