In November, RCS Empowers, Inc and Pine Haven Christian Communities gathered to celebrate the artwork display provided by RCS Empowers' artists. They were created by some of the most creative and talented participants at RCS Empowers and are now on display at the four Pine Haven campuses (Haven Drive, Prairie Crossing, Giddings Avenue, and Oostburg Campus).
The artists involved in this collaboration are proud of their work and its impact on the Pine Haven staff and residents. They worked hard to create art that captures the stories, personalities, and values of those who live and work in the Pine Haven community. Their designs were inspired by the values of Pine Haven and the love and compassion we have for the seniors in our community.
Our Pine Haven staff and residents were grateful for this opportunity to display the individual pieces. We also appreciated the chance to discuss their work and hear the stories they shared about their art. Staff and residents were able to thank some of the artists in person, too.
As a part of the celebration, the artists and Pine Haven staff took a quick tour of the display at the Giddings Avenue Campus to view the exhibition.
The event was a memorable and meaningful day for the RCS Empowers artists, Pine Haven staff, and residents. The artwork on display serves as a reminder of the power of collaboration between community members.
