The community is extremely important in helping Pine Haven fulfill our mission of providing the aging population with a Christ-centered environment. We strive to offer a haven full of quality and compassionate care. We are blessed to be in communities with giving and spiritual hearts.
This month, we highlight a church partner who has provided compassionate service to our residents for many years. Blessed Trinity Parish and its members have provided Rosary and mass for our residents at Haven Drive and Giddings Avenue campuses. They are located next door to our Giddings Avenue Campus.
History
Blessed Trinity Parish has a rich history beginning with three different churches in Sheboygan County: St George, St. Rose of Lima, and St. Mary’s. St. George was one of the first Catholic churches established within Sheboygan County, erected in 1848. St. Rose of Lima and St. Mary’s were constructed in 1861 and 1896, respectively.
As time wore on, a merger was decreed by Archbishop Weakland. St. George, St. Rose of Lima, and St. Mary’s were combined into the new parish of Blessed Trinity. Blessed Trinity Parish’s center came from St. Mary’s site and officially opened in 2001.
Today
Today, Blessed Trinity Parish continues to serve the community and provide worship services. Their mission is ‘We are a Christian Community living a Catholic life through evangelization, services, and worship.’ They offer different ways to get involved, including becoming a congregation member and volunteer opportunities. They also provide Safe Environment Education Training for families.
Mass is held at Prairie Crossing every second Friday of the month at 10:00 AM. Mass at the Giddings Avenue campus is held the first Friday of every month at 10:00 AM.
Mass at Blessed Trinity Parish is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 AM during the weekends. During the weekends, mass is held on Saturdays at 4:00 PM and on Sundays at 10:30 AM.
