The Youth Volunteer Program at Pine Haven gives young adults the chance to work closely with the residents in a loving, Christian environment. Any youth 12 years of age and older will be considered an “official volunteer” when following these guidelines:

Youth who are 12-13 years old, are allowed to volunteer with a parent, grandparent or guardian. The child must go through the interview and orientation process with their adult volunteer partner and will be assigned to work together at all times.Youth who are 14-15 years old, will be allowed to volunteer as a team and with a friend or relative who is at least 14-15 years old. The individuals must attend the interview and orientation process together and will be assigned to work together at all times.Youth who are 16-17 years old, may volunteer without a parent or partner, but at the discretion of the volunteer coordinator. Depending on where the youth will be serving, the volunteer coordinator may require a partner of the same age or older.All youth are expected to demonstrate maturity, enthusiasm and the desire to serve our communities.All volunteers will serve at the discretion of the volunteer coordinator.

A Parental Consent Form for Minors is to be completed by the parent/legal guardian prior to the minor beginning any volunteer services.
