Pine Haven Christian Communities are committed to attracting high quality, compassionate staff. To help individuals who have the heart for direct care begin meaningful careers, we have developed a work education program that we call our RA-to-CNA Career Development Program, as part of our career growth program for staff.

How It Works:

Individuals with at least 3 months experience providing direct care (showering/bathing, performing oral care, grooming, food handling/feeding, transferring) can apply for one of our open RA/CNA positions. Once you are hired as an RA, Pine Haven will pay for your CNA course tuition, books and test fee. These fees will be paid directly to the appropriate organization, so you have no out-of-pocket costs for becoming a CNA.

You must complete the CNA course and pass the exam within 1 year of being hired as an RA.

While you're training to become a CNA, you'll work regularly scheduled hours at Pine Haven, providing care to our residents. RAs will be supported by a caring staff of CNAs, CNA mentors, LPNs, and RNs - so you'll get the training and support you need for a successful career.

You can also get up to $500 in bonuses - $250 paid when you complete your CNA coursework and $250 once you pass your CNA exam.
