This non-refundable fee covers administrative costs associated with a registered nurse determining if you are a candidate for occupancy based on service needs.

Due at move in, this is retained in an account and covers potential property repair costs at the time of move out. May be refunded in whole or in part.

Prairie Crossing is licensed to provide supportive, personal, and nursing services. These services may include a combination of any or all of the following:

Supportive Services: Meals, housekeeping in resident apartments, laundry service, and arranging access to medical services.

Personal Services: Assistance with the activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, bathing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.

Nursing Services: Health monitoring, medication administration and management.

The determination of the level of care and the hours of service that you receive is based on a comprehensive assessment by the professional staff of Prairie Crossing. This assessment will be used to formulate a personalized service plan with you and your family prior to residency.

One-bedroom standard, 542 square feet...$2,400/month

One-bedroom deluxe, 652 square feet...$2,700/month

Two-bedroom standard, 785 square feet...$3,000/month

Two-bedroom deluxe, 960 square feet...$3,500/month                                      

Monthly fees include:

• Personal apartment, private bathroom with shower, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stove with oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer, central air. 

• Carpeting, window treatments, shower curtain.

• Utilities (electricity, heat, water, sewer).

• Two meals per day (continental breakfast, choice of lunch or dinner).

• Two hours of maintenance staff setup during move in (i.e. hanging pictures, arranging furniture, etc.)

• Weekly light apartment cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, tidying up) and trash removal.

• Social, educational, recreational and community events/activities coordinated with Pine Haven. Transportation will be available. An additional charge may be necessary for selected activities.

• Priority access on the waiting list to higher levels of care for any Pine Haven facility.

• 24-hour security and fire protection (staff will be monitoring the building at all times). Certain doors will be locked and security rounds will be conducted during the evening and night hours.

• 24-hour emergency call staff response when the device located in your apartment is activated.

• 24-hour onsite staff.

• Apartment and grounds maintenance including repair of all areas, fixtures, furniture, and appliances owned by Prairie Crossing.

• Additional storage availability.

• Off-street parking. 

An additional monthly fee covers a second person living in any apartment.

Expanded Service Package...$450/month per person

For those needing extra care this level includes all the services of the monthly rental fee plus the following:

- Shower/bath provided by staff once a week.

- Weekly bed linen change and laundering by the staff.

- Daily reminder of meal times, activities, medications, and appointments.

- Weekly medication monitoring/set-up.

- Up to 30 minutes of personal/supportive services per day.

- Visit with a licensed nurse to assess/monitor your health and wellness once a week.

For those requiring an extended range of services this level includes all the services of the monthly rental fee plus the following:

- A third meal each day. 

- Shower/bath provided by staff twice a week.

- Weekly bed linen change and laundering by the staff.

- Daily reminder of meal times, activities, medications, and appointments.

- Daily medication supervision by staff under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

- Up to one hour of personal/supportive services per day.

- Visit with a licensed nurse to assess/monitor your health and wellness twice a week.

- Assistance with washing your clothing once a week.

- Light cleaning (vacuuming, light dusting, tidying up, and trash removal) of your apartment twice a week.

- A nurse call pendent to alert staff of an emergency.

To provide flexibility and encourage you to remain as independent as possible, we have a complete menu of services to select from including:

- Additional resident or guest meals

- Laundry services

- Complete cleaning of your apartment

- Additional nursing/personal care services

- Additional bathing/shower assistance

- Weekly medication monitoring/set-up

- Additional health visits by a Licensed Nurse

- Nutritional counselling by a Registered Dietician

- Transportation via the Pine Haven bus

Prairie Crossing staff will assist residents in arranging for outside services.
