Your New Home

You have the choice of four apartment sizes ranging from 542 to 960 square feet.  Each apartment and the entire facility is handicap accessible. The larger apartments have a second bedroom that could serve as a guest room or office.  These larger units also have either a half or full additional bathroom. Each apartment includes a washer and dryer.

Most apartments include a full kitchen; however a meal plan is available if you prefer not to bother with cooking.  Joining the other residents for mealtime would also be a nice way to get to know your neighbors.

The European design for each bathroom means there are no ledges to climb over to get into the shower area. This will also allow for faster and easier cleaning.

General Areas for Socializing

The spacious atrium is exposed to the second floor and sets the tone for a welcoming entrance to the Pine Haven community. For presentations, larger group meetings, gathering of friends and family, and entertainment, the general use room ise a great choice. For smaller gatherings the more intimate surroundings of the family room will serve you well. On blustery winter days you can cozy up to the warm glow of one of two fireplaces that are located in the common areas.

If you choose a meal plan, you’ll enjoy dining with the neighbors on your floor.  Each of our two dining rooms include a larger kitchen you are welcome to use for baking and special entertaining with guests.

To maintain your fitness routine, we encourage you to visit the wellness room complete with free weights, exercise equipment, and regularly scheduled fitness classes. You can schedule a time in the tub room to enjoy a whirlpool bath. The beauty salon/barber shop offers the option to have a haircut, style, and other beauty treatments close to home.

We offer free on campus parking for all our residents. Our spacious grounds offer numerous opportunities to enjoy vegetable or flower gardening.  During the first few years we’ll be developing the pond and walking trails. You may enjoy a leisurely stroll or brisk walk around the grounds.

Services You Select

You have a choice of services that maintain your independent lifestyle. Our rate structure is based on hours of service that will be customized around your specific needs. Services like medication administration, assistance with personal care, and nurse supervision are offered.

The Pine Haven bus takes groups on outings to points of interest, entertainment, and local events.
