 The
atrium with its
welcoming design and natural light is a great place to meet
friends and become part of the Prairie Crossing community. With
its central location and innovative design you’ll immediately
feel “at home” when you enter.
To assure you the
opportunity to maintain regular exercise, the
fitness room
will feature weekly fitness classes. The exercise equipment is
available 24/7.
 Whether you
choose the more intimate surroundings of the
small gathering room
or the larger multi-purpose room you are welcome to host gatherings
for family and friends.
 The dining
rooms (first floor
and second floor)
will be equipped with a large kitchen where you may prepare your
favorite treats. Imagine the friends you’ll gain with the smell
of piping hot cookies just out of the oven.
For a haircut,
style, and other beauty services the onsite
beauty salon/barber
shop will be very convenient.
When you feel
like relaxing in a nice whirlpool bath, you are welcome to use
the special tub
room. During the harsh winter months this would be a
great escape.
Two fireplaces
will provide a cozy area to sit, relax and maybe read a good
book. The fireplace on the
first floor is double-sided and is between the atrium and
the multi- purpose room.
The fireplace on the second floor is located in the dining
room. Imagine socializing with the glow of a fire to keep you
warm. Small alcoves (on the
first floor and second floor)
at the end of each wing will provide areas for quiet
conversations, meditation or prayer.
The country
setting and natural wetlands will create a tranquil environment
for you to enjoy a stroll in a park like setting.
A geothermal
pump system will provide heat in the winter and cooling in the
summer. This will allow us to rely less on traditional fuels and
will assure we do our part to maintain a better environment for
future generations. Stewardship of our natural resources and
concern for the environment was considered in the planning and
design of the facility.
