Tom Rice Joins Pine Haven Christian
Home
As
Director of Human Resources
Sheboygan Falls, WI -- Tom Rice was recently
hired as the Director of Human Resources at Pine
Haven Christian Home. In his position he will be responsible for all
employment issues for the Residential Center, Nursing Home, and for the new
apartment complex when it is ready for staffing.
Rice comes to Pine Haven with 30 years business
experience. Most recently he worked in Oshkosh with Shelter for Life
International; a Christian relief and development organization. Prior to
that, Rice was Vice President-Human Resources for OmniQuip/JLG in Port
Washington and Director of Personnel at NemschoffChairs in Sheboygan.
Rice earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major of Economics
and Business from Carroll College. He has done graduate studies at
Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. Rice lives in the area with
his wife and has four grown children.
"The position at Pine Haven to my prayers to complete my
career in ministry and service to others. While researching Pine Haven
I found that their mission statement, vision, and core values all focused on
quality care based on Christian values. The low staff turnover
convinced me of the personal commitment of employees to the organization.
What better combination could you look for in a place to work," said Rice.
Pine Haven Christian Home was opened in 1950 and expanded in 1992 to the
current size of 71 residents in the skilled nursing home wing and 140
licensed rooms in the residential center wing. While supported by
eighteen local churches, residents of all faiths and backgrounds are
welcome. Pine Haven's mission is to provide quality, compassionate
care in a Christian environment. For more information about Pine
