The Pine Haven Women’s Auxiliary presented Roger Leys, CEO with a donation from their fundraising efforts in the amount of $25,000 on October 18, 2013.  The Pine Haven Women’s Auxiliary and Pine Haven Men’s Chorus are devoted solely to raising funds to support the needs of the Pine Haven Christian Communities residents.

The donation from the Women’s Auxiliary came from various fundraising events over the past year including:  Perkins, Pizza Ranch, Firehouse Pizza fundraisers; the annual Italian night held in April at First Reformed Church-Cedar Grove; the annual Autumn Festival held the first Saturday in September at Pine Haven’s main campus, the Corner Store proceeds located in the main campus and semi-annual bake and craft sales.

This year’s donation will be used towards activities, beauty shop improvements and equipment for the rehabilitation therapy gym, various CPR equipment, and lift devices.  The tireless efforts by the auxiliary to provide items needed to enhance resident care are so deeply appreciated by both Pine Haven residents and staff.   The next fundraising event for the Women’s Auxiliary will be a craft and bake sale at Catalunya Restaurant on Saturday, December 7 as part of the Sheboygan Falls Main Street Memories.
