Annual Events
Every year we host events that have become traditions of their own. Our residents look forward with great anticipation to these celebrations and the chance to spend time with all of the Pine Haven residents and their families and friends. We welcome contributions earmarked for these activities to assure we continue to provide great food, quality entertainment, and good fellowship.
In September the annual meeting recognizes the efforts of our numerous volunteers, our board members, and the contributions from individuals and organizations throughout that year. The “giving tree” has become a Christmas holiday tradition. The giving tree features ornaments that include a number and gift idea that matches to a resident. The community is invited to take an ornament, purchase and wrap the gift, and return it to the business office. Our goal is to give each resident a special gift at the Christmas party. Whether you choose to support a one-time event, or give to Pine Haven on a regular, consistent basis, all contributions truly enhance the lifestyle of each resident.

This year our annual family picnic takes place on July
21. The brat fry, sponsored by the Pine Haven Men’s Chorus, is one of their
primary fundraisers for the year. Generations of families fill the courtyard
to enjoy brats, burgers, ice cream sundaes, root beer floats, and popcorn.
Entertainment is typically musical or an act. And there are games with small
prizes for the children.
